Aim and Scope
The purpose of the scientific journal Central Asian Economic Review is to create favorable conditions for the development of economic science by providing researchers with a platform for publishing and discussing the results of scientific research, exchange of views on topical issues of economic, business and management development in order to expand the publication space for interaction of scientists in the field of economic development countries of Central Asia.

Open Access Policy
Archiving and availability: All articles accepted for publication are posted in the journal website and indexed databases. Access to the archive of rooms in the public domain free of charge. The archive of published issues can be found on the official website in the corresponding section.

Peer-Review
The peer review type is blind. The conclusion about the possibility of publishing articles in the journal is made on the basis of double-blind peer review by independent scientists, including foreign ones. The reviewer must correspond to the scientific direction of the article and is responsible for the content of the published article. Articles are provided to reviewers without specifying information about the author (s). The reviewer must review the submitted article within two weeks of receipt. The review is provided to the author (s) of the article without specifying information about the reviewers.
Publishing Ethics
The Editorial board of the scientific journal "Central Asian Economic Review" in its work is guided by the international ethical rules of scientific publications, including the concept of decency, confidentiality, supervision of publications and prevention of possible conflicts of interest, etc.
Compliance with the rules of ethics of scientific publications by all participants in the publishing process helps to ensure the rights of authors to intellectual property, improve the quality of publication and prevent the possibility of unlawful use of copyright materials in the interests of individuals in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 1996 No. 6 "On Copyright and Related Rights" (with changes and additions as of January 1, 2021) and is governed by the Declaration of Publication Ethics.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in a reviewer’s own research without the express written consent of the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.
Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
Plagiarism detection
The Editorial Board of the «Central Asian Economic Review» conducts a plagiarism check for all submitted articles using the licensed system Turnitin. There are no predetermined thresholds for similarity or text matching percentages. Each Turnitin report is reviewed by the editors individually, taking into account the specifics of the study, context of the matches, and content of the material.
In cases where significant plagiarism or other ethical violations are identified, the editorial board acts in accordance with international standards and the principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)
Preprint and postprint Policy
Prior to acceptance and publication in "Central Asian Economic Review", authors may make their submissions available as preprints on personal or public websites.
As part of submission process, authors are required to confirm that the submission has not been previously published, nor has been submitted. After a manuscript has been published in "Central Asian Economic Review" we suggest that the link to the article on journal's website is used when the article is shared on personal or public websites.
