ISSUES OF STATE SUPPORT AND FINANCE OF CINEMATOGRAPHY IN KAZAKHSTAN

Purpose of the research. Analysis of current issues of state support and financing of cinema as a separate socio-economic industry
Methodology. The study used methods of theoretical and empirical analysis, including description, synthesis, induction, as well as methods of factor and comparative analysis.
Originality / value of the research. In modern conditions of globalization, cinematography plays an important role in the economy of Kazakhstan as a form of creative industry. Given the importance of the field of cinematography, scientific research is currently relevant for improving the mechanisms of state support and financing of domestic film projects. The study describes the statistical indicators of Kazakhstani cinema and the dynamics of the industry over several years. Taking into account the positive foreign experience, a review of regulatory acts in the field of Kazakhstani cinematography is carried out.
Findings. Currently, in the financing of film projects in Kazakhstan, priority is given to national films. In the article, the author describes the essence and advantages of national films, their specificity as a domestic socially significant product. It also focuses on the basic conditions and requirements for financing national films and the benefits provided to domestic film producers. In addition, the issues of subsidizing a foreign legal entity for the production of a film or its part (episode) on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan were considered. At the same time, along with the economic benefits (profitability) of national films, their ideological significance and place in society were described.
