Evaluation of impact of the mega-event on socio-economic development of the host region: case study the 7th winter Asian games

Аннотация

В статье рассмотрены методы по оценке влияния проведения мега-событий, крупных спортивных мероприятий на экономику принимающего региона на примере 7-х Азиатских зимних игр-2011.
Азиада в Астане и Алматы способствовала положительному влиянию на социально-экономическое развитие не только города и региона, но и страны.
Результаты исследования могут быть использованы при принятии соответствующих решений, включая мониторинг эффективности использования бюджетных средств и привлечение частных инвестиций во время подготовки к мега-мероприятию.
