Journal History

The first issue of the Central Asian Economic Review journal began back in 1996, when the publication was called Vestnik KazGAU. From 2001 to 2016, the journal was published under the name "Bulletin of KazEU". In 2017, the journal was renamed Central Asian Economic Review, emphasizing the international status of the publication, and focused on the dynamically developing region of Central Asia. Since its inception, 135 issues of the journal have been published, contributing to the discussion and solution of urgent problems of economics, management, business and finance. Central Asian Economic Review is currently one of the leading scientific journals in Kazakhstan, providing a platform for discussing the latest research results and maintaining high standards for scientific publications.
