ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF REGIONAL IDENTITY IN POST-SOVIET CENTRAL ASIA
Abstract
The purpose of the study. Is to identify economic factors that have a decisive influence on the development of regional identity in Central Asia.
The methodology. For studying the regional identity of post-Soviet Central Asia is based on the synthesis of various methods and techniques, at the same time, in order to ensure the reliability and comparability of the results obtained with their help.
Originality / value of the research. Regional identity is studied by representatives of various scientific fields: philosophers, sociologists, political scientists, linguists, geographers, economists, etc. Each of them is in the process of creating its own methodological apparatus and research tools, which indicates the interdisciplinary nature of this phenomenon. The works of most authors are mainly aimed at studying the processes of regional economic integration, in connection with which the value of this work is manifested, aimed at studying the economic aspect of the identity of the Central Asian region.
Research results. Strengthening regional identity in the economic sphere can be carried out through the development of export-import potential, multilateral cooperation at the informal and formal levels, the formation of interstate-private partnerships in export-oriented industries, the creation of interstate territorialproduction clusters, border free economic zones such as technopolises and technoparks, joint ventures for the processing of agricultural products, the development of regional logistics systems and modern regional transport and logistics infrastructure.
