KAZAKHSTANI HIGH EDUCATION MARKET SERVICES: ANALYSIS OF COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMTNT

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The goal of the article is to identify some important characteristics of Kazakhstani competitive environment in higher educational services sphere. On the basis of statistical analysis, the problem of identifying the features of the competitive environment in this area is solved. It also solves the problem of determining the areas of competition for which domestic universities need to pay attention on maintaining the proper level of competitiveness in the future.
Research Methodology: The study is based on official statistical data analysis. It also analyzes actual data from other publicly available sources. General scientific methods and techniques, such as system and comparative analyses, as well as generalization and systematization were used.
Originality / value of the work: The serious statistical analysis of conditions and development trends of the domestic sphere of higher education has been carried out. The conclusions and recommendations contained in the work are useful for domestic universities in terms of identifying key areas of their development in order to strengthen their competitiveness in the future.
Results of the research: The description of the current state of the Kazakhstan's higher educational sphere was given. The main trends in the development of this sphere are identified. Due to this basis, certain particular features of the competitive environment in the sphere under study were determined. It shows those areas of the competitive environment that Kazakhstan's universities should pay attention on the process of long-term planning of their activities.
