В научной работе использованы кабинетный метод, статистический метод экономических исследований, институциональный анализ, сравнительный анализ, обобщение.Оригинальность / ценность исследования: раскрыта взаимосвязь креативной экономики с инновациями, маркетингом, инновационной экономикой и экономикой знаний; а также изучен зарубежный опыт развития креативной экономики в контексте его заимствования Казахстаном.Результаты исследования: уточнено / углублено понятие «креативная экономика», а также предложен авторский подход к развитию креативного сектора в Казахстане.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The purpose of the study – to reveal the economic essence and features of the development of the creative economy in the world and Kazakhstan practice, and to suggest areas for supporting the creative sector in Kazakhstan.Methodology – the desk method, the statistical method of economic research, institutional analysis, comparative analysis, and generalization were used in the scientific work.Originality / value of the research – the relationship between the creative economy and innovation, marketing, innovation economy and knowledge economy is revealed; and also studied foreign experience in the development of a creative economy in the context of its borrowing by Kazakhstan.The results of the study – the concept of “creative economy” was clarified / deepened, and the author's approach to the development of the creative sector in Kazakhstan was proposed</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>креативная экономика</kwd><kwd>креативная индустрия</kwd><kwd>креативные товары и услуги</kwd><kwd>инновации</kwd><kwd>маркетинг</kwd><kwd>торговля</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>creative economy</kwd><kwd>creative industry</kwd><kwd>creative goods and services</kwd><kwd>innovation</kwd><kwd>marketing</kwd><kwd>trade</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Кудрявцева И.
