Цель исследования. На основе анализа текущего состояния рынка сотовой связи в Казахстане и мировых тенденций развития инноваций в сфере телекоммуникаций выявление их экономического эффекта и основных проблем, стоящих на пути дальнейшего развития рынка сотовой связи в стране. Методология. Исследования проводились с применением методов экономического, статистического, сравнительного анализа, экспертной оценки, метода описания и обобщения. Источниками исследования послужили отчетные данные казахстанских операторов сотовой связи, теоретические и аналитические статьи, труды казахстанских и зарубежных авторов. Оригинальность / ценность исследования – авторами представлен анализ современного состояния рынка сотовой связи в Казахстане и выявлены основные проблемы и тенденции развития телекоммуникаций. Отмечается важность данной отрасли в условиях пандемии коронавируса и вынужденного повсеместного перехода на дистанционное образование и оказание услуг. Результаты исследования. Авторами отмечается, что развертывание сетей технологии 5G требует чрезвычайно высоких капиталовложений. В этой связи наблюдается тенденция к объединению компаний на данном рынке. Указываются основные причины снижения доходов, отмечается, что экономический рост в значительной степени связан с доступностью широкополосной связи, но только в случае, когда население удовлетворит свои основные потребности. Также проводится анализ влияния текущей ситуации с пандемией на деятельность компаний. Авторами на основе проведенного анализа современного состояния рынка телекоммуникаций и зарубежного опыта предлагаются возможные направления развития, которые, несмотря на существующие проблемы, позволят компаниям завоевать доверие клиентов и добиться конкурентного преимущества.
The purpose of the research based on the analysis of the current state of the mobile communication market in Kazakhstan and global trends in the development of innovations in the field of telecommunications, the identification of their economic effect and the main problems that stand in the way of further development of the mobile communication market in the country. Methodology. The research was carried out using methods of economic, statistical, comparative analysis, expert evaluation, description and generalization. The sources of the research were the reporting data of Kazakhstan mobile operators, theoretical and analytical articles, works of Kazakhstani and foreign authors. Originality / value of research. The authors present an analysis of the current state of the mobile communication market in Kazakhstan and identify the main problems and trends in the development of telecommunications. The importance of this industry in the context of the coronavirus pandemic and the forced widespread transition to distance education and services is noted. Findings. The authors note that the deployment of 5G networks requires extremely high investment. In this regard, there is a tendency to merge companies in this market. The main reasons for the decline in income are indicated, and it is noted that economic growth is largely related to broadband availability, but only if the population meets its basic needs. The impact of the current pandemic situation on companies' operations is also analyzed. Based on the analysis of the current state of the telecommunications market and foreign experience, the authors suggest possible directions of development that, despite the existing problems, will allow companies to gain the trust of customers and achieve a competitive advantage.
